The individual mulberry trees in the region are 3463.9 thousand Bush and 6788.6 thousand tutzors. Number of Mulberry seedlings planted in autumn 2019 and spring 2020 years therefrom:

- single row of mulberry trees – 895,6 thousand Bush;

– newly restored tutzor-to 396,7;

In 2019, 35 thousand 500 boxes of silkworms were taken care of,
1 thousand 987,4 tons (101,9 percent) were grown alive.

In 2020, 36 364 boxes of silkworms will be taken care of,
2 000 tons of cocoons are grown.

There are 2 pillani processing enterprises in kashkadarya region (JV MJCH"Radiant Silk", "Shakhrisabz Silk production" LLC).

68 thousand jobs will be created (1 420 permanent 66.6 thousand seasonal ones)
