Jizzakh region

There are a number of single mulberry trees in the region with an area of 2536,1 thousand Bush and tutzors up to 1986,8. Number of Mulberry seedlings planted in autumn 2019 and spring 2020 years therefrom:

- single row of mulberry trees-546,1 thousand Bush;

– newly restored tutzor-335 ha;

In 2019, 10 thousand 700 boxes of silkworms were grown,
592,7 tons (100,5 percent) grown on a living cocoon.

In 2020, 12 727 boxes of silkworms will be taken care of,
700 tons of cocoons are grown.

In Jizzakh region there are 3 processing enterprises (JV MJCh“Silk Expert processing”, “Zomin original silk fiber” LLC, “Zomin teks export” LLC).

23,4 thousand jobs will be created (631 permanent 22,8 thousand seasonal ones)
